Great for a pet scale

I purchased the MomMed Baby Scale after having my baby in September. The feature that I love most about this unit is that it has a sturdy plastic tray that clips together in the middle for weighing your baby, infant, or toddler. Once the tray is removed you can use it as an adult scale, and since it snaps apart in half; it is small and easy to store. As far as accuracy, this measurement is spot on and it adjusts to different units. I also appreciate that it has a long battery life. My only suggestion is maybe going up to the 29" size for weighing bigger toddlers if necessary.

The MomMed Baby Scale is fantastic for tracking my babys growth. Its multi-functionality, including the hold function and blue backlight, makes weighing quick and easy. Got this for my new grandbaby. Works much better than the scale my daughter was using that's supposed to weigh mom and baby and subtract. That scale wasn't accurate at all. This scale matched the pediatrician's scale! Also does height but that's more challenging and not so cut and dry to read. It's why I have four stars instead of five. Otherwise love it!

Great item but not what’s needed to weigh baby who is breastfed. Needs to be to 2g.

So far, so good! Baby was having trouble gaining weight and having this scale at home gives a great peace of mind. It's very sensitive, so it might he hard to get an exact measurement if your little one us wiggly. But still really helps with getting an idea if they are gaining. I also really like the fact it can be turned into a regular scale for older kids.

Scale lacks any sort of averaging or smoothing of the weight, so if the baby moves *at all* the reading will fluctuate wildly. The 'hold' function doesn't help, because if you press it, it will just lock-in one of the wildly inaccurate values instead of determining an average. As an electrical engineer, I find this to be very disappointing as it would have been relatively easy for them to implement.

The platform is in two pieces and they don't fit together very well. I'd recommend using some clear packing tape on the bottom-side, applied while you squeeze the two halfs together.

I'm still not sure how useful this purchase will be for tracking my baby's weight due to the difficulty in getting a consistent measurement. I guess you get what you pay for. I did test the scale by weighing a carefully measured quantity of water and it did seem to be accurate when measuring a static(i.e. non-moving, non-baby) weight.

The scale constantly turns off when placing my baby on it. It’s horrible. Not sturdy. Do not recommend.

I bought this scale to keep track of my babys weight at home because he is on a medication that needs to be increased as he gains weight. The scale seems to be off about 10oz-1lb based off of the scale at the pediatricians office. For an adult thats not much, but is a big discrepancy for an infant. Ive weighed him about a week apart on this scale and the weight was the same. Theres no way he went a whole week without gaining weight. On average he gains 4-6oz per week. I do like that theres a lot of measurement options such as pounds, ounces, grams, but am not sure about the accuracy. The scale also doesnt give a final reading and continues to fluctuate as the baby is on the scale.

Its light weight and portable.

It seemed to work well in the beginning, and was relatively eary to use. But after 6 months (the return date ended), it would turn on, but not provide a realistic measurement. My 11 lb cat weighed either 3 lbs or 16 lbs depending on the day I tried it. We even tried changing out the batteries with didn't help. It is useless now and we have to trash it.

This is the perfect scale because it has many different measurements. We're keeping track of our newborns weight to the 1/2 ounce. Works great! Thank you!

The product is easy to use and came with batteries, which is a nice touch. Didn't have to use the instructions because the layout is straightforward.

Easy to assemble and use so far

We love how digital the scale is, and how you can use it for adults as well as waiting babies. The purpose of us purchasing was to wait our baby to make sure hes gaining weight and this scale does exactly just that. It has different units you can select. You can also adjust, if you are waiting the diaper or a pad, you can exclude that from the babies weight. This is a great purchase.
