Center the nipple before starting, press every silicone edge fully into its groove and keep the cup upright during assembly and pouring. A loose diaphragm, stretched duckbill valve, overfilled 7 oz per cup cup or leaning far forward can break the seal.

Separate the motor before washing. Clean the 5 washable milk-contact parts after every use with warm water and mild dish soap, rinse thoroughly and air-dry on a clean surface. Never immerse the motor, display, charging port or cable.
Replace flanges, valves and diaphragms when they become stretched, torn, warped or no longer maintain a secure seal.
