Digitale Haustierwaage (12,6 Zoll)

I like that is super light

I’m sure this is great for puppies and kittens, and it works for my <5 lb dog, but it’s too small for an average cat.

Just got it looks perfect for our ferrets

I just wish it had a little bigger surface but it works good.

Compact scale

Arrived yesterday. It is such a easy set up. Easy instructions. Slightly smaller in over all size than I expected but honestly perfect for managing your small pets weight. Received box with couple of tears on one side and on the other looked like it slid on a rough surface. Everything inside the box though, was protected and intact.

So easy to use. Has a convenient tray to place the babies comfortably!

It’s very easy to operate. I like the feature of going between different kinds of unit weights. The hold feature is great, especially when trying to weigh an active kitten.

The only issue with this product is the buttons are hard to operate as in difficult to get to turn on or change settings. It works fine when it comes on. Just one of those things where you get what you pay for just basics.

This scale is fast, seems relatively accurate, and the hold button makes it great for wiggly pets. With that said, it’s not easy to get a pet weight if you don’t have experience doing it.

I ordered this scale for weighing my puppy to track her growth. While this scale is easily able to handle her weight and the plate is large enough for her, it’s very hard to get her to hold still for even the short time it takes for this scale to register her weight. A tip for those that haven’t done it before, try to use the scale when your pet is very sleepy and have treats on hand to convince them to stay where they are for a moment.

The only thing that I really didn’t like about this scale was the fact that I found the digital screen to be a little hard to read. The numbers lack clarity and are very bright. While it’s still understandable, I wish they would have changed the color or brightness a little.

One other thing to note about this scale is simply how small the plate is. At 12 ½” by 9”, it’s on the smaller side for most pets. Even my cats are pretty large for this one. I can get my 10 pound cat to sit on it and fit, but my 16 pound cat doesn’t stand a chance. I knew this before ordering, so I’m not upset since I was planning to use it for my puppy, but it’s worth noting for those wanting to use it for cats.

Overall, at the current price of around $23, this scale is a decent choice for those with extra small pets who would like to track their weight. For those with small or medium pets, this isn’t the right choice.

I received this product for review, I was not paid to review it.

Overall this is a very good unit. There are a few things to be aware of though.

The manual states it is for animals up to 15KG, but the size probably doesn't match that. It would be small for a 15kg/33lb animal. Keeping all of its weight on the scale could be an issue.

The description also states accuracy to +/- 3g, the manual states +/-10g, up to 3kg total weight, then +/-- 3% up to max weight. I found using calibration weights that under 3kg it is within 2-3g accurate. Like the product link shows.

One thing that takes getting used to, in a good way, is that the buttons are contact button, not pressure. So you just touch and hold, don't press the buttons. I kept pushing the button and it would rock forward, until I realized I was pressing too hard. The scale is very light so don't press on the buttons. This is a good thing.

The scale measures fairly quickly, when you put weight on or take it off. When you put an animal on the scale it waits of couple of seconds before locking the weight, and when you remove the weight, after a couple of seconds it resets to zero, so you can weigh multiple animals without having to reset the scale or touch the buttons. Helpful when you have more than one to weigh.

The surface is also slightly textured to hide footprints, but also very easy to clean.

The rubber feet keep it from sliding around.

Overall a good scale for small animals, just keep the accuracy numbers in mind.

Pretty good scale for weighing your (Small) pet.
If you plan to use this for smaller, finer measurements it's not pefectly accurate although very close (See picture).

It also stated that it can weigh up to 66 lbs. However it errors out after 33 lbs.

It does come with batteries and the tare function works as it should.
The display is clear and bright.
The buttons are capactive touch so, no need to press which is nice.

You can cycle through Kilograms, Grams, Ounces and Pounds and Ounces.

All in all if you have a small pet under 33 lbs this should do the trick.

We needed to monitor the weight of a bunny we just found because he was too skinny (1kg) and we needed to know if he was actually gaining any weight with all the food he was eating. We were using a food scale to do it but it was too difficult because it was too small so we decided to get this pet scale and it works perfectly, it's easy to use and it's big enough for the bunny to stay there and not run away.

The LED display is reasonably clear in average household lighting, but it is harder to read (and photograph) in particularly bright light. The scale is lightweight without feeling flimsy, but there is a small downside to it being lightweight. You can load/unload the tray portion just fine, but if the tray is lacking sufficient counterweight, pushing down buttons on the control panel easily tilts the scale forward. On the flip side, the simple design makes it very easy to wipe down the scale with a disinfectant wipe.

For initially trying out the scale, I weighed my cat, a bantam chicken (large breed chickens are too large) and quail eggs. Though the cat and chicken needed some bribing to stay in place, I easily recorded a reasonable weight for all of them with help from the Hold button. I really appreciate the mode toggle not only alternating ounces/grams, but alternating small and large units.

One of the scale features is to automatically lock the weight after motion stops, rather than requiring a press of the “Hold” button. The scale does reset after a few moments of the weight being removed, if “Hold” was not pressed, but the auto lock could be bothersome if you’re loading multiple items.

MomMed Digital Pet Scale, Portable Pet Dog Cat Scale with Hold and Tare Function, Precision Digital Scale, New Born Puppy and Kitten Scale with Tray for Puppy/Hamster/Little Bird/Rabbit/ Kitten

First impressions: This is a good size for small animals. I like the white and the easily cleanable weight tray.

Installation/setup: Take the scale out of the box, install included batteries, set on firm flat surface. Hit power button, select display form , oz, gram, etc.

Final thoughts: This is certainly useful for anything you would like to weigh up to 33 pounds. Scales don’t care what you weigh on them, this can easily be used as a kitchen scale, or to use for pets, pet food, or crafting. I plan to use mine in my kitchen.
